TPPF statement on federal court injunction against Environmental Protection Agency’s redefinition of “Waters of the United States”

The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Distinguished Senior Fellow and Armstrong Center for Energy & the Environment Director Kathleen Hartnett White and Center for the American Future Robert Henneke issued the following statement after a federal judge in North Dakota issued a temporary injunction order preventing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from implementing its plan to redefine the Waters of the United States (WOTUS).

TPPF statement on San Antonio’s plan to annex more property, people

Earlier today, the San Antonio City Council considered to a proposal to expand its already aggressive annexation efforts to include an additional six areas in unincorporated Bexar County that would add as much as 87 square miles and more than 52,000 Texans. This large-scale proposal comes in addition to an existing annexation plan that would see 66 square miles and an estimated 200,000 Texans added to the city without consent.
