Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) Vice President of Research and Director of the Center for Economic Freedom Bill Peacock testified today before the Texas Senate State Committee on Senate Bill 1968, which would reform Texas labor law to better restore the balance between employees, employers, and union caused by problematic federal labor law.

Additionally, TPPF today released an analysis of SB 1968. To read the full analysis, visit: http://txpo.li/texas-miracle-and-labor-policy.

“Federal labor laws have created an uneven playing field even in Texas where unions can run roughshod over employee and employer rights,” said Peacock. “It’s time to take action that will help restore the balance, benefit Texans of all walks of life, and maintain Texas’ amazing record of economic success.”
