The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s CEO Greg Sindelar released the following statement regarding the Texas Conservative Commitment, a set of policy goals for the 89th Texas Legislative Session.
“We are thrilled to see Texas conservatives coming together over a positive and pro-active policy agenda for the next session. Each issue is not only critically urgent to address but has the support of millions of Texans.
“Further, it is beyond encouraging to see lawmakers willing to come together months before the start of next session to develop, debate, and draft specific policy proposals so they can hit the ground running next year. The 89th Legislative Session has the potential to be one of the most historic and productive sessions in state history. TPPF gladly volunteers to host working groups with all lawmakers interested in discussing and formalizing these policy solutions at their earliest convenience.”
