The Texas Public Policy’s (TPPF) Center for the American Future will host the panel, “’Regulation at Any Cost?’ How Small Business Can Work Together to Challenge Regulatory Overreach” at the 15th Annual Policy Orientation for the Texas Legislature on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 3:00 pm CST at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol.

“Twenty-five percent of the cost of building a house is compliance with government regulation,” said the Honorable Robert Henneke, director of the Center for the American Future at TPPF. “At all levels of government, business struggles to afford the cost of ever expanding regulations. Many times, only major corporations can afford to comply, as small businesses and entrepreneurialism are forced out of the market. But, small business can join together to push back against oppressive regulatory schemes. This panel will discuss how."

For over fourteen years, the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Policy Orientation has been one of the nation’s top policy conferences, selling out each year while bringing together lawmakers, policy experts, and engaged citizens to discuss critical issues facing the Lone Star State and America.
