BOSTON – The First Circuit Court of Appeals is set to hear oral arguments on the Biden administration’s reckless and unlawful approval of the Vineyard Wind Project, which last week was responsible for environmental damage off the coast of Nantucket when a turbine collapsed. The Texas Public Policy Foundation is representing local fishermen whose livelihoods have been severely impacted by the continued destruction of the fishing grounds within the Vineyard project area.

The federal government is required to ensure safety and environmental protection by law when approving projects like this—and they knew this project had environmental risks like the one that came to pass here—but they let it happen anyway. TPPF is calling on the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals to put a stop to it before further harm is done.

When: Thursday, July 25th at 9:30am ET

Where: First Circuit Court of Appeals, 1 Courthouse Way, Boston, MA 02210
