TPPF releases paper on 2016-17 Texas budget

The Texas Public Policy Foundation today released a paper by Center for Fiscal Policy Economist Dr. Vance Ginn and Vice President of Research and Center for Economic Freedom Director Bill Peacock entitled, The 2016-17 Texas Budget: It’s Not a Conservative Texas Budget Yet. The paper examines both the House and Senate budgets and outlines recommendations for a real conservative budget that would ensure long-term economic growth and security.

TPPF releases paper on state options for dealing with the Clean Power Plan

The Texas Public Policy Foundation today released a paper by Senior Fellow Mario Loyola on options states have to address the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) onerous and punitive Clean Power Plan (CPP). The paper, The EPA’s Clean Power Plan: State Legislative Options, explores the different approaches the Texas Legislature can take to protect Texans from this unconstitutional expansion of federal power and ruinously expensive changes.
