TPPF statement on Gov. Walker’s executive order on the Clean Power Plan

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker this week issued an executive order to prohibit state agencies, departments, boards, commissions, or any of their agents from developing or promoting the development of a state plan to comply with the 111(d) Rule of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) so-called Clean Power Plan (CPP) until the expiration of the stay issued by the U.S. Supreme Court last week.

TPPF files amended lawsuit against Bureau of Land Management

The Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) filed an amended complaint in Aderholt, et al. v. Bureau of Land Management, et. al., TPPF’s lawsuit challenging the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) unconstitutional and arbitrary seizure of thousands of acres of private property along the Red River in Texas. TPPF’s Center for the American Future is representing individual property owners, the counties of Wichita, Clay, and Wilbarger, and the Clay County Sheriff in the lawsuit.

TPPF statement on SCOTUS stay of Clean Power Plan

The Supreme Court of the United States today issued a stay on the implementation of the Environmental Agency’s (EPA) Clean Power Plan (CPP).
