In a slow, uneven economic recovery, some cities have managed to not only survive but thrive. According to the latest national study by the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, the Lone Star State stands shoulders above the rest of the nation, with four of America’s top ten performing metropolitan areas claiming Texas as their home. In this study, co-authors Tom Gray and Robert Scardamalia shed light on why Texas cities are flourishing while others are floundering, providing important lessons for policymakers and business leaders across the United States.

Please join the Texas Public Policy Foundation and the Manhattan Institute for a stimulating discussion about the future of American cities and how Texas cities are lighting a path forward.
