Members of the San Antonio Liberty Leadership Council* are invited to a salon dinner** discussion on the dynamic landscape of technology and policy in Texas. 2024 has been a bellwether year for technology in the Lone Star State—from new state laws like data privacy and child online safety taking effect, to SCOTUS hearing Texas’ social media speech protection law, and so much more.

Looking ahead, all eyes are on the state legislature for how Texas will handle artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, deepfakes, and the unending promises and perils posed by emerging technologies broadly.

During this lively discussion, we will unpack the legislative successes from last session and some of the big-ticket tech policy items for next session.
