Young professionals are invited by the Lubbock Liberty Leadership Council* to a cocktail hour featuring one of the city’s longest serving mayors, Dan Pope.

Dan Pope is a successful businessman that served as the mayor of Lubbock from 2016 to 2022. Pope founded Benchmark Business Solutions in 1994 and grew his business enterprise into the most successful Xerox Agent-Dealer in the country. Dan also served as the Chief Development Officer of Covenant Health System.

Join us for an intimate conversation about Mr. Pope’s business and background, as well unique insight on the issues that matter most to young professionals of Lubbock. Mr. Pope will also provide advice and guidance for young people who desire to be effective and engaged in civic participation.
