Capital Factory

The Lone Star State has long been known for its business-friendly practices that promote entrepreneurship and a thriving economy. However, some more California-type regulations are starting to creep in. In Dallas, specifically, the city is working to implement a mandatory paid sick leave ordinance that will hinder small businesses and, in turn, its employees. Please join the Dallas LLC* for a conversation about what challenges real business owners are currently facing, what’s on the horizon for our city and state, as well as how it affects you: as a taxpayer, an entrepreneur, and an employee.

Speakers:

  • John Hagan, Managing Partner, Hagan Law Group and plaintiff with the Dallas paid sick leave lawsuit
  • Chad Jackson, Co-Owner, King’s Electric & Plumbing
  • Scott Osborn, Co-Founder and Executive Producer, Lights All Night
  • Moderated by Shelby Sterling, Texas Public Policy Foundation

Complimentary drinks and snacks will be served.

*Liberty Leadership Council events are open to young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 who are looking to get involved in conservative public policy. Click here for more information.
