All aspects of life have become more expensive over the last few years, from crushing grocery bills to rising gas prices to, perhaps worst of all, a meteoric rise in the cost of housing. As the American Dream falls further out of reach for many middle-class families—especially of the younger demographic—it is critical to understand the factors driving the crisis and how to mitigate them through sound public policy.

Join Dallas City Councilwoman Cara Mendelsohn and TPPF’s James Quintero, the policy director for our Taxpayer Protection Project, and the Liberty Leadership Council* as we discuss the state of the housing market, government action, and the road ahead.

Speakers:

Cara Mendelsohn—Dallas City Council Member, District 12

James Quintero—Policy Director, Taxpayer Protection Project, Texas Public Policy Foundation

RSVP is required to attend. Complimentary food and drinks will be served. Please extend this invitation to any other young professional who may be interested in this event.

*The purpose and vision of the Liberty Leadership Council (LLC) is to foster meaningful relationships among young professionals who share the values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and free enterprise and to engage these individuals in the mission of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Click here for more information.
