Born and raised in Midland, Sumner has a deep love for the Midland community and the great state of Texas. Her passion for public policy stems from her Christ centered love of others, knowing that policies directly impact peoples’ day to day lives.
Sumner graduated from the University of Arkansas, then promptly returned home to Texas. She now lives in Midland with her husband, Hayden, and son, Barrett. Sumner is working as the campaign manager for Senator Kevin Sparks. She enjoys spending time with her family, going hiking, and watching college football.
